Choir

Singing and musical instruments were created by God Himself and was given as a gift to man to render praise and worship to God through singing and praise. Many instances are mentioned in the Bible where all people no matter what their status were in society, sang and played music as a part of their worship to God. 

Music is a gift of God and part of the created order. Of all the musical instruments that may be used in the worship and praising of God, the human voice is the most important because that was a part of His creation. No matter how we sound, whenever we sing in praise and worship it is like a beautiful symphony to God’s ears. He loves to hear us sing praises and play music to Him because He deserves all our worship and praise for all that HE has done for us. Singing is a part of God’s ministry that belongs to all the people of God. Different voices, different instruments and different parts are blended to offer a single, living and unified praise to our God.

By God’s grace and the leading of the Holy Spirit, we were able to form for our first choir in 2016. We started with just 4 regular choir members and 2 musicians playing just the drums and a guitar. But now we have nearly 20 members singing in different services and conventions and 6 musicians playing various instruments. It was only through God’s grace, plan, purpose and righteousness that we were able to come this far with the church choir. We are continuously praying and humbling ourselves to Him to guide us to fulfill His plan and purpose for this choir not to showcase the talents He has given us but to make sure that we truly worship Him in Spirit and Truth and everything is done for His glory.
