What to expect
Do I need to speak Malayalam?
Not at all. Our services move between Malayalam and English, Sunday School is taught in English, and plenty of the congregation will happily translate anything you miss. You will follow more than you expect — and you'll never worship alone.
What about my kids?
Children ages 3 and up are welcome at Sunday School — a combined session at 9:00 AM, then classes at 9:30 — and children stay part of the main service too, singing with the choir during English worship. Kids are never an interruption at Salem.
Where do I park, and which building is it?
We meet in the Main Church Hall in Building B on the Purpose Church campus at 4390B S. Lowell Blvd. Park anywhere on the campus lot — look for Building B signs, and don't hesitate to ask anyone walking in.
What should I wear?
Come as you are. You'll see everything from suits and saris to jeans. God is interested in your heart, not your wardrobe.
I'd like someone to pray with me. Who do I ask?
Any of us — but especially Pastor Benson or the elders, who would be honored to pray with you after any service. You can also call or text 720-83-SALEM, or join the Saturday Night Meeting.
